The hotel was just the right size for a villa-like stay. The rooms and common areas were well decorated. We were in Italy to celebrate my granddaughter's 15th birthday and the location gave us a beautiful backdrop for her formal pictures. Morning staff was wonderful, night staff a bit rude, other than that all was very acceptable and we also felt the breakfast was very good.
Only the night time clerk.
It was well appointed and very quiet. We loved our room especially the balcony.
The location was a little less than central but not a major drawback. It would not prevent us from staying there again.
The proximity to the shopping area. The taxi service is excellent. Bed very comfortable.
The breakfast could be better. Bread was stale and toaster very old and not working properly. Wifi very flaky.
Far away from the metro station (15mins walk)
It,s carm,no smoking,
We don,t have water hot and cold one evening and next morning,we don.t have teapot and bath robe.
The Villa is nicely renovated and in a pleasant location.
We booked a doubleroom for 3 days as per Booked.net specifications, but unfortunately the hotel must have been fully booked and we were put into the "broome chamber" - room 402. This room at best qualifies as a single room: the bed width was around 1.40m/4.6 feet (not extra wide queen size as advertised), so not pleasant for two adults. We questioned the receptionist: "are you sure we're in a proper double-room?", however no help. Also, the bathroom only had a small shower (no bath tub as falsely suggested in photos for doublerooms). The shower basin was clogged after about 2 minutes so one had to wait and throttle the shower. We alerted the reception to this on the first night, but it was not fixed during our 3-night stay.
I liked the design, tranquility, excellent location, very clean room and bath, comfortable bed. I had a large corner room, very nice furnished, with two windows and nice view . The hotel is in the quiet place though close to central Via Veneto (few min), and tourist attractions (Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, others, all within 15-20-30 min walk for me, and I am not a sportive person). Via Condotti which starts from Spanish steps is full of nice shops and caffes including famous Caffe Greco. Various shops and restaurants are also nearby, including excellent fish restaurant few min from the hotel (ask at reception, I do not remember the name). Park and Villa Borghese with famous gallerie is also in a few min walk. The hotel is designed in a nice and quiet Italian style. I enjoyed very much.
It would be nice to have a cup of tea or coffee in the evening sitting in the terrace. There is only small bar in the dining room (open till 9 P.M.), but no tea or coffee in the evening. There is also no tea in the room. So, if you want to enjoy quiet evening with a cup of tea and some small cookies or so, you have to go outside. Actually, many places for this can be found around (caffes, restaurants) but these places are usually more suitable for some meal, not only for a cup of tea. Maybe it is possible to arrange just a hot water, tea and coffee bags, sugar and some minimal sweets in the terrace in the evenings.
The suite was roomy with a large terrace. Outside area of hotel was good. Breakfast could be eaten outside. Front desk person Antonio was fantastic and helped us lots. Edwardo was also excellent with luggage and fixing things like getting computer organised.
Breakfast staff were a little slow to refill breakfast bar and bread was non-existent. Bathroom floor could have been cleaned better after we had used it.
Position near centre but still quiet excellent ...easy to get taxis ...room spacious ..bathrom very spacious.
Breakfast coffee lacked distinction ....
Friendly staff, quiet location, it was actually possible to sleep with the windows open! Good choice at breakfast, easy walk to major sights/tourist bus. Good restaurants nearby, enjoyed being able to breakfast on the terrace. Rooms pleasant, good bathrooms all very clean. After the hustle and bustle of the tourist trail it was a relaxing place to return to.
Very comfortable hotel, excellent conciege staff. Beautiful rooms, quiet location. Walking distance to many museums and historic centre. The pc available to guests in the lounge was really useful.
I felt that breakfast was a bit of a challenge - eg in this quality of hotel I would expect fresh fruit juice to be available and I would expect hot tea and coffee to be brought to the table. The toaster was almost impossibly inefficient.
Very Pretty Hotel with easy access to historical hot spots while being cost effective.
Was the best hotel in ROme I could ever have stayed...the staff at the reception were extremely helpful specially Marcello when we arrived at midnight June 5 and also when he was able to get a taxi for us to go to SHeraton Golf on June 7 as there was a taxi strike. I have nothing but praises for the service, breakfast buffet choices, cleanliness, ample space, good quiet environment, best bathroom in Europe standard, beautiful garden around and most specially within walking distance to Via Venetto and close to Termini station. I would definetly recommend this hotel and return in the future when I will be in Rome.
Nothing I would claim not to like from the hotel...
New but decorated in classic way. Very comfortable and quiet with a modern marble bathroom.
Robes in the room would be nice.
The hotel staff were great, rooms clean and breakfast sufficient
